Nowadays we are accustomed to seeing stories through small windows – by way of opening somebody’s Instagram profile or when we scroll through photo galleries on our phones. Therefore, for this #51 photoshoot the penultimate of my project, I decided to tell a story about food in the same way too – with collages of lots of photos, each of which tells their own little story. This photoshoot was also inspired by the pop artist David Hockney and his photo-collage series entitled “Joiners”.
Once I had taken all of the pictures I could begin the really fun part of this project, that of arranging them into one picture that would combine to tell the story of the dish. The delicious dishes were created by Tomas Rimvydis, the Chef of the restaurant “Ertlio namas”.
