frozen margaritas

frozen margaritas

This is a classical cocktail with fresh lime juice. You can make it in advance and keep it in the freezer, then simply take them out and enjoy once your guests arrive.

Ingredients

  • 240ml fresh lime juice (approx. 5-6 limes)
  • 120ml light agave syrup
  • 60ml “Triple Sec” liqueur
  • 240ml tequila
  • 1 kg ice cubes
  • For the garnish: 2 slices of lime for the glass
  •

Servings:6-8Level:easy

Squeeze the limes and save the juice. Crush the ice cubes in a blender and pour in all of the cocktail ingredients, then blend together for a few minutes. Pour the drink into screw-top glass jars and put them in the freezer. Take the drinks out and keep them at room temperature for around 10-15 minutes before serving. Pour the drinks into glasses and garnish with wedges of lime.

You can salt the rims of the glasses with salt. Turn the glass upside down on the wet napkin to moisten the rim, then lightly dip it into the salt.
