Smoked tomato Bloody Mary


  • 0.5kg tomatoes
  • Herbs
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • 80ml vodka
  • 4 slices of cold smoked bacon


Servings:4 Level: easy

1. Prepare the tomatoes. Marinate them with your favourite herbs, garlic and olive oil. Place the marinated tomatoes on a moistened wooden plate and smoke them on the ceramic barbeque “Big Green Egg” at 120°C for about 1-1.5 hours.

2. Blend the smoked tomatoes while they are still warm, then strain and cool down.

3. In a glass pour in 100ml tomato juice and 20ml vodka. Garnish with a slice of grilled bacon.
