My new #35 food photo session is dedicated to the good purpose of the special event “More than brunch”, which is organised by the “Trinity” restaurant on the first Sunday of October. All the collected funds during this long breakfast event will be given to repair the hospital wards of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos children’s department of oncology. You are more than welcome to join the “More than brunch” event, enjoy the delicious food and this way help to support the noble idea!

The idea of this unique photo shoot came from my memories. Do you remember your childhood and how much fun it used to be to trace the outline of your own hand onto a piece of clean paper? Even more fun was to coat your hand in paint and make hand-stamps all over the clean sheet of paper. Inspired by such memories, particularly for this noble event, we created a photo shoot of the foods created by the 8 Chefs who are going to participate in the “More than brunch” event. All of these pictures you can see a little bit later. I followed the same theme whilst creating the #35 photo shoot with Chef Evaldas Kizelis.

His dishes are full of memories. I am sure all of you remember the dishes of your childhood – small “hedgehogs”, stewed plums, fried cottage cheese and kissel. With this photo session, we welcome the contemporary interpretations of these unforgettable dishes.
