The colourful and fun traditions of Shrove Tuesday known as Pancake Day inspired me to create this new #8 photo shoot. You will find a cosy décor, highlights of the upcoming spring and a hearty sweet feast for your eyes and stomach in it. All the delicious dishes were made by Laura Donelė, the founder of the dessert studio “Tie kepėjai”.
During this photo shoot, I tried to create a warm home atmosphere where the appealing dishes are already served on the table and await the happy families to roll in loudly for the festive dinner.
This time I dared to try a different and unusual photography style for me. It was challenging yet very interesting and this is what this “52 times” project is about ☺
I do remember Laura from those early days when her studio was counting the first days in business and in order to buy her famous muffins you had to drive all the way to strange old premises in the Newtown (Naujamiestis) neighbourhood.
I am truly happy that Laura decided to join my project and I had the opportunity to complete the second month of my project together with her.
